  The Aguilar Group, Inc. is a real estate consulting company with headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 

The principals of The Aguilar Group, Inc. are Rodolfo J. Aguilar, Ph.D., PE/PLS, ASA, MAI, SR/WA and Roberto J. Aguilar, IFAS, ASA, SR/WA both of who are Louisiana State Certified General Real Estate Appraisers. Beatriz S. Adcox is an associate appraiser with the company who is a Louisiana State Certified Residential Appraiser.


Rodolfo J. Aguilar, Ph.D., Chairman of the Board of The Aguilar Group, Inc., Real Estate Appraisers and Analysts; Professor Emeritus of Architecture and Finance, Louisiana State University; and Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Adjunct Professor of Real Estate, A. B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University; holds a B.S. in Architectural Engineering, a B.Arch. (Architecture), and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University; an MBA from the A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University; and the Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is a Registered Architect, a Professional Engineer (Civil Engineering), a Professional Land Surveyor, and a Real Estate Broker in the State of Louisiana. He is also Certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Dr. Aguilar holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser, ASA designation of the American Society of Appraisers, the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute, and the Senior Member, SR/WA designation of the International Right of Way Association. He is currently certified under the Continuing Education Programs of the American Society of Appraisers, the Appraisal Institute and The International Right of Way Association.

Dr. Aguilar was a member of the first Appraisal Sub-committee of the Louisiana Real Estate Commission, as Louisiana's Sixth Congressional District representative. The nine member Sub-committee is vested with the following autonomous powers and duties: (1) To establish educational programs and research projects related to the appraisal of real estate; (2) to establish administrative procedures for certification; (3) to adopt educational regulations; (4) to adopt continuing education regulations; (5) to adopt standards for the development and communication of real estate appraisals; and (6) to perform such other functions and duties as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of the Louisiana Certified Real Estate Appraisers Law (Act NO. 472; S.B. No. 447). He currently holds Certificate # G0041 as a Louisiana State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.




Roberto J. Aguilar, IFAS, ASA, SR/WA, Senior Vice President of The Aguilar Group, Inc., Real Estate Appraisers and Analysts; holds a B.S. in Marketing from Southern University. Roberto J. Aguilar holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser, ASA designation of the American Society of Appraisers, the Senior Independent Fee Appraiser, IFAS designation of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, and the Senior Member, SR/WA designation of the International Right of Way Association. He is currently certified under the Continuing Education Programs of the American Society of Appraisers, the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, and the International Right of Way Association. Roberto J. Aguilar is past president of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers and the Baton Rouge Chapter of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers. He currently holds Certificate # G0476 as a Louisiana State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.

Beatriz S. Adcox, is an Associate Appraiser with The Aguilar Group, Inc., Real Estate Appraisers and Analysts. Ms. Adcox holds Certificate # R1210 as a Louisiana State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser. Ms. Adcox completes appraisals on single-family residential, duplexes, fourplexes, and vacant lots and assists The Aguilar Group, Inc. in all other aspects of research.
